File Operations

Search and Replace File Operations are available from the Actions Menu, the Context Menu, or by pressing the F2 key after a search had been performed. Highlight one or more strings or files in the Search Results list and activate File Operations.

You can drag n drop files from the File Operations dialog into any folder you want in Windows Explorer. The folder does not have to be the folder specified in the "Copy To:" field. Please note that drag n drop to Windows Explorer is a convenience function only. The program does NOT expand subdirectories. For example, if D:\Example\Directory_Toolkit.htm is dropped in the D:\Temp, the program does NOT create a D:\Temp\Example folder. This means you will need to be careful about name collisions. If you drag n drop both D:\Example\Directory_Toolkit.htm and D:\Example\OldFiles\Directory_Toolkit.htm into D:\Temp you will get a file change notice from Windows.
